这是一张让歌迷等待许久的唱片、乐队自04年成立以来的第三张录音室专辑。从之前网上流传的《Previous Age》拼盘式的炒冷饭之作开始，到单曲《Human》、《Spaceman》的接连放出，都吊足了大家的胃口。两首“Man”的单曲都出色让人满意，很典型的The Killers 1(听歌)式特色摇滚。熟悉的Brandon Flowers嗓音又再次出现，带着韵味，精神抖擞。

新专辑由为Keane(听歌)以及Madonna(听歌)打造专辑的制作人Stuart Price制作完成。 请用Stuart Price似乎在某种程度上也起到了扩大宣传的作用。The Killers用自己的行动证明了自身的不断变化，从早期非常时髦的《Hot Fuss》到模仿U2( 听歌)般大气的《Sam’s Town》再到如今。也许《Day & Age》不算是The Killers最好的作品，但绝对算是08年的年度最佳专辑之一。从先前发行的单曲《Human》中，我们已经领略到了那充满管弦乐以及Synth-Pop所带来的兴奋，但兴奋之余也掩盖不住歌曲所带来的一丝悲伤的情绪。《Spaceman》所给我们带来无限留恋的旋律以及Brandon Flowers的爆发的高音。不知道这张专辑会不会成为今后二十年最伟大的专辑呢？
