Exercise 2-5: Consonant 1 /Consonant Liaisons 2 CD 2 Track 40
Say the sound of each group of lett ers out loud (the sound of the letter, not the name: [b] is [buh] not [bee]). There are three general locations —the lips, behind the teeth, or in the throat. If a word ends with a sound created in the throat and the next word starts with a sound from that same general location, these words are going to be linked together. The same wi th the other two locations. Repeat after me.
