Even as Traditional Chinese Culture spreads around the world and more people become interested in Chinese, foreign culture and concepts have begun to spread into China. This is inevitable 1 as development is increasing communication and integration 2. More and more foreigners are studying Chinese and great masses of Chinese people are studying English in order to aid this goal of communication. Yet, even popular cultural aspects have begun to spread as well. Chinese people are beginning to celebrate such Western holidays as Christmas and Valentine's Day. Western food, especially fast food establishments like McDonald's and KFC have become popular. This can be contrasted with growth of interest in Chinese culture abroad. Chinese food is a phenomenon on its own as can be seen in the growth of such restaurants in North America and Europe. A large part of this expansion into areas outside of Asia is due to the immigration of Chinese people that has gone on for centuries. China Towns in San Francisco, New York, and London have provided gateways 3 from which Chinese culture has been able to spread. This had increased as business with China has expanded and international ties are forged. It is through cultural communication and integration that we learn from each other and grow closer.

地点状语从句一般由连接副词where, wherever 等引导。

1．where引导的地点状语从句常用"where+从句，there + 主句"的结构，表示"哪里……哪里就……"
