3. OJ Simpson could leave Nevada prison as soon a October,1st. The former football was granted parole Thursday after serving almost 9 years for a botched attempt to rob sports memorabilia he claimed was actually his.
4. And the massive central California fire has now burned at least 109 square miles, 99 homes and other structures. More than 3000 firefighters were on the job. At last word, the fire was 10 percent contained.
