 The sound of the bell that hung in the 16th street back in church Beminham Alabama before the church was bombed 1963 wit after doctor Martain Luse King Jr's 'I have a dream' speech.Today,it is a symbol for a nation marking the 50th anniversary of thr march on Washingdon.President Obama says Ameica is more free and fair because of the courage of cicil rights marchers.Obama was adressing thousands of people who gathered at the Lincon Memorial where the revern Martain Luse King Jr made his storic call for justice and racial equality 50 years ago today.NPR's Craig Windorm wits more.

Gorge 1 congress man John Louis was one of the organizers of the 1963 march,he recalls the troops had been deployed 2 in the nation's capital that day,but he says there was no violence.

Nuclear regulators in Japan have increased the rating of leak of radio active water from extorge tank melt down nuclear plant in Japan.NPR's Jeff reports tha plant's owner is taking steps says prevent future leaks.
The latest troubles of Fukishi nuclear plant began on Aug 19 when workers discovered that nearly 80,000 gallons of radio active waters had leak from a tank.Initially 9 regulators class the leaks at normally under international scale,but after consulting with international autonic energy agency they are now calling it a serious incident.Japan's nuclear regulation authority says the change rating better convincing the      of the event to the public.Meanwhile workers of the plant stepped up petrols around other tanks tring to spot future leaks before they become serious.Jeff NPR News.
