Tonight a city of size of Chicago is in flame. it is been all night, a political inferno 1 is spreading. Look at Kiev, capital of Ukraine, a country once was a big part of the old Soviet 2 Union; is now erupting over the government decision to align 3 itself more closely with … Putin’s Russia. The people down in that Square right now, Independent Square is called, they don’t want that, they’ve been protesting for three months now. Tonight government forces moved on them with force inflicting 4 heavy causalities and apparently 5 paying heavy prices as well. The numbers vary. The best we can determine right now 11 protesters, 9 police officers, and one other person had been killed. Expect those numbers to change. They’ve been rising all night.
