重点表达式
总体上学外语的女生比男生比例高。同时两者比重都出现了下降，用the proportion of girls is slightly higher than that of the boys, 还可以用while, however, in spite of, by contrast等连词，也包括类似it is clear that等插入语。
在这个说英语的国家，外语学习者的比例总体呈下降趋势。在语种方面，法语不如以前那么火热，而西班牙语受欢迎程度呈现上升的趋势。
