1. Authorities in New York say they've disrupted a terror plot that could have caused unthinkable devastation 1. Three people are under arrest with investigators 2 looking for a fourth. The plot targeted the pipeline 3 network feeding jet fuel to Kennedy Airport and never got passed the planning stages.


2. Protestors clashed with police in Germany ahead of next week's G8 summit. Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Rostock, but the event turned violent when masked protestors began throwing rocks and beer bottles. Police responded with the water cannon 4 and tear gas.


3. Barry weakened to a tropical depression as it came ashore 5 in Florida, cancelling all storm warnings and watches along the Gulf 6 Coast. The area is getting rain, but probably not enough to end the severe drought.


4. Off the coast of Rhode Island, this catch, a female lobster 7 that's part brown, part orange. The extremely rare coloring means this crustacean 8 isn't headed for the dinner table, but in an aquarium 9 for all to see.
