The first batch 1 of Chinese aid has arrived in Nepal's capital, Kathmandu for the earthquake victims.
A military plane was carrying a portion of the aid which has been pledged from China.
It includes tents, blankets and electric generators 2.
170 members of the Chinese military are also in Kathmandu to take part in the relief efforts.
Meanwhile, more than 2-thousand Chinese citizens who had been in Nepal when Saturday's earthquake hit have made it back to China via commercial flights.
Senior Chinese leaders including President Xi Jinping and Premier 3 Li Keqiang have attended an award ceremony for some 3-thousand model workers.
The event, held ahead of the May 1st Labor 4 Day holiday, has championed worker protection, higher working standards and stronger unions.
Addressing the ceremony, President Xi Jinping has described the workers as "history makers 5" and "fundamental forces" in China's development.
