  sleep on it 考虑一下
  注意:sleep on it从字面意思上看是"睡在上面"。
  人类自古以来就有日出而作日落而息的习惯。既然说要睡在上面,就有一种要休息了,有什么事也等到明天再说的含义。
  于是乎,sleep on it也就有了"考虑一晚上,事情等到第二天再解决"的意思。
  【例句】
  1.We asked him if he would 1 go home on holiday and he answered that he would sleep on it.
