We're learning more tonight about that secret service scandal. This time, from the woman who was at the center of evidence, escort hired by one of the agents advancing the president's trip to Cartagena, Columbia. And here's ABC's Pierr Thomas. We've seen her pictures blasted across the tabloids 1, but today for the first time, we hear from Dania Swoyasis who described herself not isn't an ordinary prostitute, but is a high passed escort. Speaking on the Columbia Radio show, Swoya says the now infamous 2 evening began with secret service agents out of control at a strip club.
They want bar dancing, and I thought crazy, they were all drunk. They bought alcohol like they bought water. Sowaysis said at the time, she did not know the man who approached her was a secret service agent. When I am in a discotheque, he comes close and said sex. She responded. He said how much? I said $800. He said $800, Ok. They arrived at the hotel Caribe at roughly 1:30 am. The argument which eventually went public started the next morning when the agent offered only $30.
Sowayasis says she's yet to talk to the secret service. Congressional leaders are not happy about that. How was she able to appear on television, and radio, and give an interview. And yet, secret service in Columbia police can not track her down. As for Sowayasis, she's been in hiding,afraid for her safety. She says her escort days are over. Pierr Thomas, ABC news Washington.
